They were there, door was locked, no one answered. Do yall not want customers??? I like Davis Wholesale on Holt. Go there for good customer service. Theyre always there during their posted business hours.

Bless their hearts, they ALWAYS forget to mention Fred White, one of the two original owners of Hornbuckle Wholesale. Without Fred's money they would not have been able to get the business out of Mrs. Faye Hornbuckles backyard. I know this because I worked for them when I was a teenager and on into my mid 20's. I then owned my own retail florist in Macon for many years until I retired 12 years ago. I was not surprised when the Macon store was the first to close. Tom Hornbuckle is the 3rd generation and it's a well known fact that the 3rd generation of any small business has to have an exceptional business leader. Tom Hornbuckle, is a good salesman, some would call him charming but he just doesn't have what it takes to keep the business afloat long enough to hand it over to the next generation. It's just so sad to watch the beginning of the end of Hornbuckle Wholesale, if only different decisions had been made at key points in the past. I do wish all of them well. God bless everyone one of them.
